Yep, it's officially Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launch week, and Microsoft is going all-out as it prepares for its first-ever COD launch on Xbox Game Pass. Following on from last week's new line of BO6 accessories comes a brand-new dynamic background for Xbox Series X|S - and it's giving huge Black Ops 1 vibes.

Microsoft has removed access to a potentially useful option from Xbox Game Pass less than two weeks before the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The Xbox Game Pass subscription option might have given budget-conscious players a chance to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 for much less than its retail asking price.

Things aren’t looking good if you were hoping to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Xbox or PC for just $1 at launch. It seems as though Microsoft has removed the option to pick up a 14-day subscription for a reduced price just nine days away from the Black Ops 6 launch.

It’s not surprising to see the $1 Xbox Game Pass trial quietly removed once again, especially as Microsoft looks to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to boost its Game Pass subscriber n
