Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca stepped up to the mic after his team suffered a narrow 2-1 loss to Liverpool at Anfield. The Blues tasted defeat for the second time this Premier League season, with the Reds climbing back to the summit of the league.

Chelsea may have lost against league-leaders Liverpool on Sunday, failing to win at Anfield for the ninth time in the last ten years, but head coach Enzo Maresca seemed to suggest afterwards that if we can keep playing like we did, we will have plenty of wins to show for our efforts in the future.

The pair came off as part of a triple substitution after 53 minutes, and after the game Maresca was asked to what extent that decision was planned: “Yeah, for him and Romeo [Lavia], the idea was for him and Romeo to have one hour or 55 minutes maximum.
