Russia attacked the Ukrainian capital Kyiv with several waves of drones for the second night in a row, damaging residential buildings and injuring at least one civilian, Ukrainian officials said on Monday.

Russian drones have tried to attack the city of Kyiv on the night of 20-21 October. However, Ukraine's defence forces have destroyed all of the Russian drones, approximately 10 in total, that threatened the city.

Kyiv has repeatedly targeted Russian military bases housing jets and air-launched weapons used against Ukraine.
