Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese attended Game 5 of the WNBA Finals on Sunday, where the Minnesota Lynx faced off against the New York Liberty in Brooklyn.

The Liberty-Lynx series had been incredibly tight throughout the Finals. The margin of victory was tiny — less than five points in multiple games — and every basket and foul call counted. Late in Game 5, the Lynx were seemingly on the verge of locking up the franchise’s fifth championship when two fouls were called on the Lynx.

This time a week ago, a "pissed off" Breanna Stewart sat in front of the media and took accountability for costing her team a Game 1 win in the 2024 WNBA Finals with a missed free throw and botched layup at the end of regulation and overtime, respectively.
